The De Loach estate has a philosophy linked to biodiversity which includes the application of biodynamics in the vines but also the presence of beehives and a diversified vegetable and aromatic herb garden whose medicinal plants are used in the preparations. of compost. This vintage is made from Zinfandel , carefully selected from the estate's best California vineyards. The bunches come from both old and young vineyards in order to have a harmony between freshness and complexity. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel vats then part of the wine will be aged in used oak barrels so as not to alter the bright fruit of the Zinfandel. This wine reveals intense notes of cherry, wild strawberry, raspberry , redcurrant , violet , blueberry, blackberry jam , sweet spices , menthol and licorice . The palate is delicious, fresh and easy to drink, accompanied by fine tannins and leading to a fruity and spicy finish.
