Viñedos de Montaña Chardonnay 2021

This wine comes from two different vineyards located at the foot of the Andes. The first half comes from Gualtallary at 1450 m altitude planted on limestone soils and the other half is located on La Carrera at 1700 m altitude planted on sandy soils, gravel and pebbles. After a 3-day skin maceration at low temperature, the must is sent to French oak barrels of different ages. Fermentation is done with native yeasts. Aging continues in these same tuns for a period of 8 months. This wine reveals notes of green apple , nashi pear , melon , white nectarine , ripe lemon , chamomile , acacia flowers , chalk and mineral nuances. The palate is precise, elegant and saline. The freshness of these two great terroirs is immediately felt in the balance of the wine, combining fine acidity with the generosity of Chardonnay. The finish is long and complex.

Originally from Bordeaux, he is today responsible for some of the most famous Argentinian wines, which are characterized by their brightness and intensity, with floral notes and dark fruit flavors. Other red varieties produced in Argentina are Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Bonarda, Syrah, Tempranillo and Pinot Noir. Among white wines, the emblematic grape variety of the Argentine wine region is Torrontés, which gives a wine with a floral and tropical taste. The country also produces Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc and Pinot Grigio. Today, Argentinian wines are recognized throughout the world for their full-bodied reds and as high-quality wines.
