A bright pale green Riesling with a fresh, vibrant nose with aromas of yellow and lime , Granny Smith apple, cooked apple as well as fragrant notes of white flowers and minerals . Fresh, lively and delicate, the citrus offers a clean flavor, while the acidity on the palate is felt on the finish and gives the wine a clean, dry and refreshing finish.

Clare Valley Located in the South of Australia, the Clare Valley, considered "Riesling Alley", is one of the most picturesque regions of Australia. It is actually a series of narrow valleys from north to south, each having a different soil type and slightly different weather conditions along its route. Viticulture in this region dates back to the 19th century and most of the estates are linked together by the Riesling route. Differences in soil, altitude, degree of slope and climate allow the region to produce some of Australia's finest aromatic, spicy and limey Rieslings as well as excellent Shiraz and Cabernet Sauvignon with ripe fruit notes and good acidity and great structure.

Australia began producing wine more than two centuries ago. Between these two extremes lies the diversity of Australia's offering of high quality and regional wines that has always existed. Australian viticulture is mainly concentrated on the southern oceanic edge where conditions are cooler. There are four main wine regions located around major cities. Western Australia around Perth, South Australia around Adelaide, Victoria around Melbourne and New South Wales around Sydney. The country is one of the largest wine producers in the world, and was the 4th largest exporter in the world in 2011. This recent development now makes Australia one of the most prominent countries for the quality of its wines. You can taste Australian wines all over the country. Each Australian region has its own grape varieties. Australian wines are defined by their grape variety, unlike French wines which are defined by their terroir.
