Gewürztraminer grape wines

Gewürztraminer is a pink-skinned grape variety that produces some of the most aromatic white wines available today. Literally translated, Gewürztraminer means “Spicy Traminer”. His very fragrant style is somewhat divisive; Fans love its intense floral scent and sweet spice flavors, while detractors deplore its low acidity and overly intense intensity. The best examples of Gewurztraminer are generally considered to come from the grands crus of Alsace, but they are also found in Germany, northern Italy and Austria.
