Leaving Calvados to discover new horizons, Christophe Durand fell into the magic potion of wine by becoming an agent for a cooper in Cape Town. Intrigued by viticulture, he created his own estate in 2000 by purchasing grapes and renting space in a winery. Since then, he has produced exceptional wines with passion, intelligence and without pretension. Along with his wife Sabrina, they work closely to source grapes from the Swartland and Elgin areas, today producing around 10,000 bottles under the name Dorrance Wines.
